Welcome to Ddeb’s - A Taste of Home
I grew up in a small town in Connecticut. My first job was in a small local restaurant, where I was a bus girl. From there I worked in a hotel restaurant as a waitress and bartender for 20 years. This is where I met my husband, who was a regular customer, along with many people from Hampton Roads who were working in the area.
One of those customers accidentally called me Ddeb one night and it stuck! Over the years the “D” came to stand for Delightful, Dancing and Demon (said with lots of love). Feel free to come up with your own “D”.
My goal for Ddeb’s - A Taste of Home is for you to always feel welcome and part of the family, enjoy the homemade food and give back to the community.
For those of you who wish to bring in non-perishable items, there will be a collection box by the front door that will benefit the Great Bridge Food Closet. For every 5 items you bring in, you will receive 10% off your entire meal. The 3rd Saturday of every month, Ddeb's gives 10% of the revenue to a different charity.
